About us

AusIndustry is the Australian Government's principal business program delivery division in the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.

We deliver a range of more than 35 business programs worth about
$2 billion each year to more than 12,000 businesses and about 85,000 individuals.

These programs include:
  • innovation grants
  • tax and duty concessions
  • small business skills development
  • support for industry competitiveness

AusIndustry in Tasmania has eight staff, with seven staff operating out of Hobart and a Regional Manager, Leaha Dent, in Launceston (03) 6331 4183.

We offer advice and guidance on the full range of AusIndustry products, and welcome all enquiries. We can meet with you at your premises to discuss your business needs and identify whether AusIndustry can provide you assistance.

We run workshops and seminars around the state on key AusIndustry products as well as publish a quarterly e-bulletin.
