About us

AusIndustry is the Australian Government's principal business program delivery division in the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.

We deliver a range of more than 35 business programs worth about
$2 billion each year to more than 12,000 businesses and about 85,000 individuals.

These programs include:
  • innovation grants
  • tax and duty concessions
  • small business skills development
  • support for industry competitiveness

What: Australian Export Awards
Prizes: Recognition with benefits such as Australian Export Awards logo use
Applications: Most states and territories' applications are open. Closing dates are: South Australia (July 12), Western Australia (July 15), Victoria (July 17), Queensland (July 24), ACT (July 31), NSW (August 7), Tasmania (August 20), Northern Territory (August 28)


What: The Australian Rural & Outback Awards - including a Business, Training & Employment category
Award/prize: Each of five category winners receive $2000
Nominations: close on Friday 10 July 2009


What: Australian Privacy Awards & Australian Privacy Medal 2009. Awards in four categories - Large Business Award, Small-Medium Business Award, Community and NGO Award, Symantec Government Award, plus Grand Award.
Prizes: Recognition.
Entry/nomination deadlines: Thursday 6 August 2009
