About us

AusIndustry is the Australian Government's principal business program delivery division in the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.

We deliver a range of more than 35 business programs worth about
$2 billion each year to more than 12,000 businesses and about 85,000 individuals.

These programs include:
  • innovation grants
  • tax and duty concessions
  • small business skills development
  • support for industry competitiveness

Brett Henderson is a new recruit to AusIndustry and from Townsville he will service North Queensland, from the Northern Territory border, Lockhart River, Weipa, Burketown, Camooweal, Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Stamford, Mackay and Sarina in the south.

We provide information on the full range of AusIndustry products, and welcome all enquiries. We can meet with you in our office or at your premises to discuss your business needs and identify which AusIndustry assistance programs may be relevant to your business.

We run workshops and seminars on key AusIndustry products and collaborate with allied agencies through sponsorships and collaborative events to promote the suite of AusIndustry products to the business community throughout Queensland and Northern NSW.
